There was this boy that I once knew

Today was the worst day
It led to heart break

I was stupid and oh so selfish
It’s a kind of suicide but in this case no one died
He was everything you could have asked for
He was willing to do anything for you
He’d be the one to cheer you up when your down he would ask you what was wrong
He might even sing you a beautiful love song
I look back and think how could I be so horrible to someone so wonderful
He respected me he cared for me he was always there I cried so hard you woulda thought it was the other way around
But I was the one taking and smashing his heart to the ground
He said its okay I understand I just want to know your happy that’s all that really matters to me
Now I’m saying I don’t know what to do
I don’t have a clue
All I can say is I hope for the best
And I swear you’ll find a girl that’s better then all of the rest
